Is there anyone in the online world who hasn't heard of MySpace? It's highly doubtful, as this social networking site is without a doubt one of the most, if not the most popular site of its kind in existence. Just about everybody who is anybody has an account with MySpace! This does make it a little difficult to be an individual when it comes to your MySpace profile. It tends to be a bit of a surprise when you are browsing the website, and you come across the profile of someone else who is using the same layout as you. Of course, there is no way to make this 100% unavoidable, unless you make your own MySpace layouts - but who has time for that?
There's not one MySpace member around who hasn't made the decision that they want a new layout for their profile page. If they are like most people, they start looking for another profile by doing a web search. Then, they will probably choose the web site which features layouts that appeal to them. They'll search for a while, until they spy a layout that looks like it will work. Why did they choose that particular layout? Was it the colour, the pattern of the background, the graphics, or the subject matter? Or, was it a little bit of all these things?
Once they get the MySpace layout in place, they may tweak it a little (more on that in a minute) or they may leave it as is. But, you know what? Nine times out of ten, in less than a month, they are going to be dissatisfied with their layout, and they will go hunting for another... all over again!

Everyone has at least one of these subjects that will go really well with their personality.
You may also decide to go with the time of year as to what layout you will use. Check different MySpace user profiles in the weeks before Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, and other holidays to see what people are doing to their layouts to help celebrate the holiday.
No matter what type of MySpace layout you use for your profile, make it uniquely yours by adding a few widgets or other MySpace extras to spice things up a bit!
